The Free Health Check in Schools (CKG) program in Indonesia is set to reach 53 million students in educational institutions nationwide, including public, private, and religious schools. Under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, which oversees 12.5 million students, the initiative aims to provide free health checks to every student. Senior Expert Staff at the Presidential Communication Office, Hariqo Wibawa Satria, praised President Prabowo’s vision for a Golden Generation by 2045, which includes various strategic policies and programs such as Free Nutritious Meals, Capacity Expansion of Public Hospitals, and Digital Learning Initiatives.
President Prabowo has also implemented government regulations to support child protection and provide special allowances for medical specialists in remote areas. Minister of Religious Affairs, Nasaruddin Umar, confirmed that the CKG program will include all religious-based educational units, emphasizing the importance of developing a healthy and competitive generation. With over 12 million students eligible for CKG services, Minister Nasaruddin urged religious schools to support the program by providing necessary equipment and ensuring active participation from teachers and staff.
Regional and district heads of the Ministry of Religious Affairs have been instructed to monitor the program closely and ensure that schools take the initiative seriously. The implementation of the CKG program in religious schools plays a crucial role in realizing the vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045, promoting the health and well-being of students.
