During President Prabowo Subianto’s visit to Middle Eastern countries such as Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt in early April 2025, members of the Indonesian diaspora, particularly students, shared their optimism and high hopes for his leadership. Representing the Indonesian community in Turkey, Maulidya Nur Islami expressed pride and happiness during the President’s visit, viewing it as a positive development for both nations. Muhammad Munirudin and Muhammad Syarif also appreciated the personal attention and direct engagement shown by Prabowo, fostering hope for stronger cooperation in the future, especially in light of the meeting between the Indonesian and Turkish presidents. In Qatar, Rifki Nur Muzaki conveyed enthusiasm on behalf of the Indonesian community, expressing a desire for Prabowo’s visit to serve as an inspiration for continued achievements that bring pride to Indonesia. Similarly, the Indonesian diaspora in Egypt welcomed Prabowo’s visit, foreseeing a positive impact on educational advancements for Indonesian students in the country. Collectively, members of the diaspora in these countries extended prayers and well wishes for Prabowo as he embarks on his leadership journey. Since April 9, President Prabowo has embarked on official visits to various Middle Eastern countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt.
