SiwinduMedia.com – Dr H Dian Rachmat Yanuar MSi officially began his Leave of Absence (GLTN) as the Secretary of Kuningan District starting from August 1st until September 22nd, 2024.
The obedient attitude shown by the Secretary is his seriousness in aiming for the position of Kuningan Regent, which is currently held by the Acting Regent Dr Drs H Raden Iip Hidajat MPd. This also answers various public questions regarding whether Dian will run for Regent in the Kuningan Regional Election which will be held on November 27th, 2024.
To start his political movement before registering with the Election Commission (KPU), the extended family of Dian Rachmat Yanuar held a thanksgiving event at the Baraya Sport Center Kuningan building, behind Dua4 Kopi, Martadinata Street, Ciporang Village, Kuningan, on Thursday (8/1/2024).
The thanksgiving event and gathering was attended by hundreds of volunteers and community figures from Kuningan. Also present were the officials of the Kuningan Golkar Party led by Chairman Ir H Asep Setia Mulyana.
Furthermore, the event was attended by several other party chairmen, including the Chairman of the PPP local branch dr H Toto Taufikurohman, the Chairman of the Democratic Party local branch Drs H Lili Suherli MSi, the Secretary of the Nasdem Party Regional Executive Board Rudi O’ang Ramdani SPdI representing Chairman H Chartam Sulaiman ST MM. Also present were religious figures, including the Chairman of the NU local branch Dr KH Aam Aminudin SHI MA and the Chairman of the NU Shura Council KH Ubaidillah, as well as leaders of other organizations, NGOs, and community institutions.
Around 10:30 AM, cheers of “Dian Bupati Kuningan” echoed as Dian Rachmat Yanuar arrived at the location. This further signifies Dian’s seriousness in running as a Candidate for the Kuningan Regional Election in 2024, which has been questioned by many parties.
The Chairman of the Golkar Faction in the Kuningan Regional House of Representatives, H Yudi Budiana SH, who also attended the event, gave a statement to the press. He expressed gratitude for the enthusiasm shown by the hundreds of volunteers and community figures who attended the thanksgiving event. After the event, the next step is a political safari across various parties.
“Starting tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, we will visit political parties in Kuningan. So, after this is done (thanksgiving, red), we will immediately visit other parties with Mr. Dian,” said Yudi, representing the Golkar Party which will nominate Dian as a Candidate for Kuningan Regent for the 2024-2029 term.
The day before at the end of July, Dian bid farewell to the Acting Regent of Kuningan Dr Drs H Raden Iip Hidajat MPd and led the morning assembly at the Kuningan Regent’s Hall. Emotional moments were seen as Dian saluted the Acting Regent, followed by handshakes between the heads of SKPD offices and officials within the Kuningan District Office along with the ASN officials in the Kuningan District Office.
