Jakarta – Candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto, admitted that he was not afraid of any obstacles when standing with the ranks of young Indonesians. He revealed this when attending a grand parade event with young TKN volunteers at JCC Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday, (2/2/2024).
“My brothers and sisters, if there are young people with me, I will not be afraid of anything! This world belongs to you, the younger generation,” said Prabowo.
He then reminded how he had fought from a young age, just like Bung Karno; Bung Hatta; and Bung Syahrir; in achieving independence.
“Because back then we were the same age as you, we were always at the forefront. They fought for the Indonesian people. My brothers and sisters, all renewal, innovation, reform, transformation is done and led by young people. Bung Karno at a young age, in and out of prison. Bung Hatta; Bung Sjahrir; all the figures at a young age when leading the independence movement,” said Prabowo.
“So today, even though I’m tired from returning from South Sulawesi, as soon as I entered this building, I got a new strength. Moreover, I was directly greeted with cheers earlier,” added Prabowo. (SENOPATI)
